Buddy has performed on two New York Grammy Awards shows, produced records such as  Herbie Mann's  'Astral Land' (co-porduced). His composition, arranging and production skills are present in the soundtrack for 'Bustin Loose' (with Roberta Flack) and Luther Vandross'  Grammy Award winning 'Never Too Much'.


Presently Buddy Williams is holding down the drum chair on the much acclaimed Broadway adaptation of Alice Walker's Pulitzer Prize winning novel, "The Color Purple".
